I thought charity begins at home

debt I was amazed and astounded to find that, the British people, pay out £9.1 billion in aid to other countries. And we give China (not Taiwan) but THE China that is the one making money hand over fist £50 million a year!

How can that be when our National debt from figures published in May 2010, was £927.4 billion or 63.7% of National GDP (Source: Office National Statistics).

I know where we can get 9 billion a year!

  1. The poor people of this world always help the poorer. I remember when I was young my family was always giving money to priests and nuns that called at our door for money to help the poor! And we had hardly anything. But my Gran being Irish always gave.

  2. I also remember the nuns coming around. They had big head gear (wimples?). Scared me as a kid.
