Smoking Ban in the home

The chief medical officer said children should be protected from second-hand smoke in cars and that the smoking ban should be extended to the home to protect children from second-hand smoke.
Oh I can just see the Wayne’s and Waynette’s of the UK sink estates standing outside their homes smoking.
I’d laugh out loud.
And who is to enforce this?
